Lorinser Nardo 3 SL Roadster
Yes.. Lorinser knew that Mercedes-Benz had the SL Roadster facelift around the corner. Yes.. Lorinser continued their Nardo venture anyway. And Yes.. Lorinser completed its 3rd Nardo creation. When you feel something so powerful inside you, you go with it. That's what separates the good from the great... That's what separates Lorinser from all other tuners.
The South Italian ring in Nardo, Italy is a track made legendary by the cars that have conquered it, and joining their ranks is the Lorinser-tuned, limited edition SL dubbed the "Nardo 3”. Based on the V12 biturbo-powered SL65 AMG, the car produces 660 PS / 485 kW and maximum torque of 1013 Nm - on a par with a medium-sized truck. In a bracket reserved for supercars, the exclusive SL was measured independently at 201 mph.
The Nardo styling cues feature aggressive front and rear aprons. The
widened fenders in the front and gaping air intakes on the rear quarter
panels aggressively characterize the side profile. For those road users
lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the rear, a visually appealing
acoustic exhaust system is fitted, and ingenious treatment is given
with dual integrated vertical exhaust tips.
The unveiling of the Nardo 3 to the United States was recently held at the world's largest auto auction, located in Scottsdale AZ, the Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction. If you know Barrett-Jackson, then you know its the number one destination where car connoisseurs gather every year to discuss, view, and purchase the rarest of rare vehicles on Earth.
The Nardo 3 SL Roadster is a car where exclusivity is truly met, with the treatment set
only to be reserved for 50 lucky customers worldwide. Lorinser is the
leading aftermarket company for Mercedes setting trends in today’s
industry, and the new Nardo SL is a perfect example why.
